We have a child in school with a serious peanut nut allergy. It is vital that no nuts are brought into school or this child could be extremely ill.
As much as I don’t want to become the ‘food police’, I have noticed that quite a few lunchboxes are coming in with items which we are advised that children shouldn’t be eating every day. The occasional fun-size chocolate bar or packet of crisps is fine (anything with a high fat, salt or sugar content is ok occasionally), but having these items every day isn’t healthy for children’s developing bodies. We teach children all about healthy eating in school and I am asking for your support to help continue that beyond lesson times.
